LACNIC is the Internet Address Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean, responsible for allocating and administrating IP addresses and other related resources (Autonomous System Numbers and Reverse Resolution) for the region of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The LACNIC Policy Manual contains a section devoted to IPv6 policy in the ARIN service region (Latin America and part of the Caribbean). This contains all of the policies applicable to LACNIC members wishing to obtain an IPv6 allocation or assignment.
