ARIN
ARIN, the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) is a Regional Internet Registry (RIR) incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. ARIN:
- Provides services related to the technical coordination and management of Internet number resources in its respective service region. The ARIN service region includes Canada, many Caribbean and North Atlantic islands, and the United States.
- Participates in the global Internet community
- Facilitates the development of policy decisions made by its members and the stakeholders in its region
- Is a nonprofit, membership organisation
- Is governed by an executive board elected by its membership

The ARIN Number Resource Policy Manual contains a section devoted to IPv6 policy in the ARIN service region (Canada, many North Atlantic and Caribbean Islands and the United States). This contains all of the policies applicable to ARIN members wishing to obtain an IPv6 allocation or assignment.
ARIN also hosts an IPv6 Wiki, which boasts a wide range of IPv6-related information provided by ARIN community members, and offers an informational IPv4 Depletion / IPv6 Adoption Slide Deck [ppt].
