IPv6 Traffic Doubles in Six Months, According to Akamai

Akamai, an Internet content delivery network, serves double the number of global IPv6 requests as they did six months ago – about 20 billion requests per day – according to this Computerworld story. Although this represents only 7-8% of all Internet traffic served by Akamai, they believe the growth rate is a positive sign of IPv6 uptake.
