China to work out IPv6 commercial operation plan this year

China is expected to come up with a scheme for the commercial operation of the advanced IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) this year, said Liu Dong, a member of the expert team responsible for the country’s next-generation Internet demonstration projects, at the Global IPv6-Next Generation Internet Summit yesterday.
