Companies ‘need to plan for IPv6 to take advantage of new technology’

Businesses in the UK need to start planning for the next generation of Internet Protocols, called IPv6, if they want to take advantage of new technology, an expert has said.
“The key thing here is planning because if you’re forced to do something very quickly then obviously it’s going to be really expensive,” said Simon McCalla, director of IT at Nominet.
